Wheel of Life

From Chaos to Clarity

Do you ever feel overwhelmed?

Do you ever multi task?

Are there not enough hours in your day?

When life is busy, or all your energy is focused on a particular aspect of your life, it's all too easy to find yourself "off balance", not paying equal attention to the other important areas of your life. Whilst it is always a good idea to have drive and focus taking this too far can lead to burn out and frustration. It's time to "sharpen the saw -‘ (Steve Covey "The 7 Habits of  Highly Effective People")

A Wheel of Life can help.

It enables you to consider each area of your life in turn and decide what's off balance and what needs more attention.

Below is an example of a Wheel of  Life.

How to use the Wheel of Life

Take the centre, or hub, of the wheel as 0 (total dissatisfaction) and the outer edge as 10 (total satisfaction).

Rank your level of satisfaction with each area of your life by placing a large dot somewhere within the section.

Draw a line to join all the dots.

How balanced does your wheel look?

What are you going to do to start balancing all the areas of your life?
